Guided Rail is a Yorkshire based design and engineering consultancy, specialising in track and drainage solutions that aim to improve Britain’s railways. Guided Rail were seeking an agency to help them with a website redesign and content production, with a particular focus on developing their case studies.
While the client didn’t want a full rebrand, they wanted to update their brand with a more modern and fresh look. The content across the website required updating to better showcase what Guided Rail did and what their solutions could achieve, while also being optimised to resonate with a wider audience. We were excited for the challenge and were happy to get the project on track.
Our content team carried out an audit of the existing content on the website before moving on to market research and competitor analysis. This helped us define a clear structure for the content, ensuring we were covering key messaging while also optimising for SEO. Particular focus was given to defining the client’s case studies, highlighting key achievements, challenges and the outcome, allowing potential clients to easily understand the impact of Guided Rail’s services.
After writing and finalising the content, the design process began. Keeping the user experience in mind, our design team optimised the website’s layout to make navigation easier and call-to-actions (CTAs) clearer. The design focused on including images from Guided Rail’s projects, showcasing the variety of work and innovative solutions they provide.
The project resulted in a modern and sleek website that is easy for users to navigate. It effectively highlights Guided Rail’s expertise and impact in the rail industry, while the refreshed content is easier for potential clients to understand and optimised for SEO.
The new case studies have become a useful website tool to showcase Guided Rail’s capabilities, offering a clear insight into the challenges they are able to overcome with their solutions.
