Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Data Analyst to join our wonderful team. This is a comprehensive role that combines advanced analytics, strategic insight, explorative analysis and hands-on implementation across all aspects of marketing measurement and optimisation. On a daily basis you will be working towards developing our tracking, reporting and analyst capabilities for our clients. This data will directly be used to help grow our clients and us as a business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make an impact, work on some interesting projects and learn from the experience of the team.
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for improving web accessibility and digital sustainability. You’ll need to get stuck in and think on your feet, it’s fast-paced and challenging but there are so many opportunities for you to grow with us!
What you’ll get up to
- Design, implement, and maintain attribution models to understand the impact and effectiveness of marketing channels and campaigns
- Build predictive models for customer lifetime value, churn prediction, and propensity scoring
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate experiments, ensuring statistical rigour and actionable insights
- Develop marketing mix models to optimise budget allocation across channels and measure incremental impact
- Create comprehensive measurement frameworks for campaign performance, customer journey analytics, and ROI assessment
- Measure and define reporting of digital sustainability and web accessibility issues
- Create predictive models for demand forecasting and capacity planning across marketing channels
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting systems that translate complex analytical insights into clear business recommendations
- Build real-time monitoring systems for campaign performance and anomaly detection
- Design and maintain data pipelines for marketing analytics, ensuring data quality and governance
- Create real-time dashboard reporting that communicates quantitative insights to senior client stakeholders
- Conduct primary market research using advanced statistical techniques and experimental design
- Research potential new business for Wonder based on our services to grow our client portfolio
- Stay current with emerging methodologies in marketing analytics
- Design and execute marketing experiments to test strategic hypotheses
- Develop proprietary analytical frameworks and methodologies that provide competitive advantage for our clients
Our ideal person would
- Mathematics/statistics background – Strong degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or related quantitative discipline
- Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in statistical libraries (e.g. pandas, NumPy)
- Understanding of regression analysis, hypothesis testing, time series analysis, and experimental design
- Data manipulation – SQL skills and experience with large datasets and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform)
- Understanding of digital marketing channels, attribution challenges, and measurement methodologies
- Experience with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Analytics)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Commercial understanding of how analytics drives business value
- Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and probabilistic modelling
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Confident using Google Tools such as Docs, Sheets and Slides to create research papers and present findings
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Passionate and proactive team player with an ambitious drive and positive attitude
